Château de Laubade Armagnac Brandy - Bottled Memories
Opening a bottle of Armagnac can be an emotional experience because we might recall, nostalgically, events from the year that is marked on the label.
Château de Laubade is the largest vineyard owner in the Bas Armagnac (the prestigious appellation in the Armagnac zone). Produced from different grape varieties cultivated in the Gers region of France, the brandy is patiently distilled in golden copper stills, then carefully blended to preserve the uniqueness of each particular vintage. Furthermore, aging in casks made from black oak gives the brandy its body, flavor and rich golden-brown color.
Once Armagnac is transferred to the bottle, it stops aging and should be stored vertically to prevent the brandy interacting with the cork. The quality of Château de Laubade and the range is tremendous. The availability of the old and rare vintages is second to none. Every vintage Armagnac from Château de Laubade is formally certified. All are true to type, but show their own individual and marked character.
Château de Laubade has won more the 40 medals (including 18 Gold) in competitions from Paris to Eauze. Explore the gold for yourself.
