Grapefully Us is a premium wine group. It is a cooperative effort of people dedicated to expanding their wine knowledge and appreciation of wine. 

The group was founded in Connecticut in 1986 under the guidance of wine retailer Ed Ganem.  Ed conducted wine education and tasting at his store in Terryville, CT.  From that base, a group formed under the premise of sharing the cost of premium wines so that each member would have the opportunity to try wines that they might not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy.  The host is responsible to select the wine to be shared and to do research about the wine, thus educating each taster about what makes that wine special and unique.

As a group, there have been some unique opportunities to get to know winemakers, help to plant a vineyard and have wine blended with their own label.  These hands-on experiences have given the group exposure to the wine industry that most, as individuals, would not come into contact with.

When two of the members moved to Arizona, they decided to form a Grapefully Us Southwest Chapter in 2003 Abiding by the original concept of the group, the Southwest Chapter continues to evolve and expand their wine knowledge by indulging  in wonderful wines that are best when shared with fellow wine-lovers.
